On Saturday, 10 July and Sunday, 11 July, Commander, SAF Force Command, Major General Alan Geder, paid a visit to SAF members deployed to international operations KFOR in Kosovo and EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Saturday, General Geder visited Kosovo where, in the city of Peæ, he met with Commander, Multinational Battle Group West, and members of the 21st Slovenian Contingent. On Sunday, he accompanied the President of the Republic of Slovenia and the Supreme Commander of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Dr Danilo Türk, at the commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica. Later, General Geder and President Türk also paid a visit to members of the 24th Slovenian Contingent in Sarajevo.
